The first-place Durham Bulls kick off the final month of the regular season with a three-game series against the Charlotte Knights at the DBAP, beginning on Aug. 1. The team's first Taco Tuesday promotion, the season's final Bark in the Park event and $1 Concessions highlight the event schedule.
The three-game series against the Knights opens at 7:05 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 1, with the game presented by IBM. That evening the DBAP will host Taco Tuesday, as fans can get $2 tacos around the ballpark throughout the night.
The Bulls square off against the Chicago White Sox Triple-A affiliate at 7:05 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 2 for the season's final Bark in the Park event, presented by Banfield Pet Hospital, as fans can bring their canines to the game. Human tickets for Bark in the Park cost $7.99 plus tax, while tickets for dogs are priced at $5 plus tax by using the promo code BARK, with all proceeds benefitting Second Chance Pet Adoptions. Prior to the contest, fans can partake in a pregame puppy parade on the field beginning at 6:25 p.m. at Section 122.
Durham wraps its brief three-game homestand against the Knights on Thursday, Aug. 3 at 7:05 p.m. The game, presented by Carolina Packers, will feature $1 Concessions throughout the evening, as Bright Leaf hot dogs, soda and popcorn are just a buck all game long.
