LANSING, Mich. – The Lansing Lugnuts’ 2022 High-A Central schedule will comprise 132 games running from April 8 through September 11 at Jackson® Field™, the Lugnuts announced today.

The schedule includes home games on Mother’s Day, Father’s Day and the 4th of July.

The Lugnuts, the High-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics, will play 66 home games in the 2022 season, their 26th in existence. The curtain rises with Opening Day at home on Friday, April 8, against the Lake County Captains, with the season concluding at home on Sunday, September 11, vs. the Dayton Dragons.

All but two of the Lugnuts’ 23 scheduled series will run six games: a three-game series to open the season against the Lake County Captains and a three-game series in July against the Captains following a four-game midseason break from July 18-21.

Every Monday will be a league-wide off-day with one significant exception: Monday, July 4th, in which the Lugnuts will host the Great Lakes Loons for a special Independence Day celebration. That game will be followed by a day off on July 5 before the series resumes July 6-10.

In total, the Nuts are scheduled to play 24 games apiece against intrastate rivals West Michigan and Great Lakes; 18 games against Dayton, Fort Wayne and Lake County; 12 games against Beloit; and six games against Cedar Rapids, South Bend and Wisconsin.

Six home games remain in the Lugnuts’ 2021 season, hosting the Detroit Tigers-affiliated West Michigan Whitecaps at Jackson® Field™ from Tuesday, September 14, through Sunday, September 19. To purchase tickets or for more information, visit lansinglugnuts.com or call (517) 485-4500.
