"The Sandlot" and Princesses Highlight Bees Homestand

SALT LAKE CITY (August 8, 2018) - The Salt Lake Bees begin their penultimate regular season homestand of 2018 on Thursday, Aug. 9 at Smith's Ballpark. The Bees host the Tacoma Rainiers (Triple-A Seattle Mariners) for four games before beginning a three-game series with the first place El Paso Chihuahuas (Triple-A San Diego Padres). Below are the game times, activities and community nights happening at the ballpark.

Thursday, Aug. 9 vs. Tacoma Rainiers, 7:05 p.m.

• Coors Light Thirsty Thursday with $3 drinks.

Friday, Aug. 10 vs. Tacoma Rainiers, 7:05 p.m.

• "The Sandlot" 25^th Anniversary Celebration.
• Cast members from the movie including Ham, Smalls, Yeah-Yeah and director David Mickey Evans will be singing autographs and meeting fans during the game.
• The cast and crew will participate in a postgame Question and Answer session at home plate.
• S'mores will be available at the Derk's Classics and Ice Cream concession stands.
• Postgame kids run presented by Bees Kids Club.

Saturday, Aug. 11 vs. Tacoma Rainiers, 6:35 p.m.

• The Final Bees Kids Club Clinic of the year will be held at Smith's Ballpark beginning at 10 a.m. Bees Kids Club is sponsored by UVU, Cyprus Credit Union and Denny's. Kids can sign up for the Bees Kids Club for $13 at www.slbees.com.
• Princess Night at the Ballpark presented by Larry H Miller Chysler/Jeep/Dodge/Ram. Princesses will be around the ballpark meeting with young fans, taking photos and signing autographs.
• Princesses will be handing out Bees Tiaras during their meet-and-greets.
• Postgame fireworks with princess themed music.
• Post fireworks kids run presented by Bees Kids Club.

Sunday, Aug. 12 vs. Tacoma Rainiers, 6:05 p.m.

• Safe in the SUNday presented by University of Utah Health.

Monday, Aug. 13 vs. El Paso Chihuahuas, 7:05 p.m.

• Smith's Family Night with four tickets and four hot dogs for $20 available at www.slbees.com.
• Team Poster autograph night. The Bees will be on the concourse signing posters until 6:20. Gates will open early for fans hoping to get their poster signed.
• Former New York Yankee great Bernie Williams will be play the National Anthem on his guitar. Williams will be promoting Breathless Blowout which raises awareness for IPF (idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis) a rare lung disease that his father passed away from.

Tuesday, Aug. 14 vs. El Paso Chihuahuas, 7:05 p.m.

• Read Today Night. The Bees and Read Today teamed up to reward summer readers with over 5,500 tickets distributed to children who completed the program.
• Taco Tuesday with $2 tacos.

Wednesday, Aug. 15 vs. El Paso Chihuahuas, 7:05 p.m.

• Cyprus Credit Union Dollar Dog Night.
