FRISCO, Texas (August 2, 2018) - Keyed by a three-run fifth and a solid performance from Jonathan Hernández , the Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers, knocked off the Corpus Christi Hooks 4-1 Thursday night at Dr Pepper Ballpark.

BIG MOMENTS
* The Frisco bats came through in the fifth inning, breaking a 1-1 tie with a three-run output with RBIs from Preston Beck and Luis Yander La O .


* Right before the big inning, Michael O'Neill made a run-saving diving catch to end the top of the fifth and preserve a 1-1 tie

* Hernandez worked 5 2/3 innings, only allowing one run on three hits while striking out six to earn the win.
