LAKELAND, FL - After heavy rain began following the top of the fourth inning, Wednesday night's game between the Clearwater Threshers and Lakeland Flying Tigers was suspended due to rain and wet grounds at Publix Field at Joker Marchant Stadium. The series will resume in a doubleheader beginning at 4 PM EST on Thursday, August 27. Game one will be completed in nine innings, beginning with the bottom of the fourth inning at four. Game two will be a seven-inning contest beginning approximately 35 minutes following game one's conclusion. The second game will not begin before 6:15 PM EST. The Threshers trailed 3-0 and had just finished the top of the fourth inning when the game was suspended.
