CLEARWATER, Fla. - May 14 is the 11th annual Wing Fest at Spectrum Field. Local restaurants - Abe's Place, Original Hooters, The Stadium, The LBC, Smokey Bones, Wing House, Mugs 'N Jugs, Average Joe's, and more - will be vying to be the people's choice champion, the "King of the Wing", in the annual competition tradition. Fans who participate in the Feeding Frenzy will enjoy samples of the wings and vote for their favorite restaurant. The winning restaurant team will be recognized on-field during the game and receive a trophy. Wing Fest is included with Monday Feeding Frenzy.
The Threshers host Feeding Frenzy on Monday nights. Tickets for a Feeding Frenzy are $14 and include admission to the game, an All-You-Care-To-Eat menu of concession items, and samples from local restaurants. The concession menu runs from 6-9 p.m. and includes hamburgers, cheeseburgers, Westshore Pizza, Delco's cheesesteaks, hot dogs, popcorn, and peanuts. All ticket options are available on Mondays; gates open at 6 p.m. for the 7 p.m. game time with the Palm Beach Cardinals.
