Portland, Maine- The Trenton Thunder (64-31) scored eight of nine runs with two outs and swept the Sea Dogs with a 9-4 win on Wednesday afternoon at Hadlock Field.

The sweep is the first three-gamer the Sea Dogs have suffered at home this season, the only other home sweep was a one-game series vs. Hartford on April 24th.

Littell (5-0) allowed four runs on seven hits over six innings, he walked two and fanned nine. Ball (3-9) went three innings and allowed four runs (all unearned) on five hits while walking two and striking out two.
Taylor Grover struck out a career-high seven in four innings of relief for Portland.
The Sea Dogs open up a five-game series against the Hartford Yard Goats (Rockies' affiliate) tomorrow for a 7:00 PM start at Hadlock Field. RHP
