The eighth-inning blast provided the Toledo Mud Hens with a 5-4 series win over the Indianapolis Indians at Fifth Third Field to conclude the four-game homestand.
Registering just their fifth win in 2019 when trailing after seven innings, the Mud Hens trail their division rival by two games for second place in the International League West, with four more left in the season-series.

Following the loss in game two of the doublheader Wednesday, the Mud Hens were officially out of contention for the wild card spot in this year's Governor's Cup, having already been eliminated from the IL West Division title the day prior.
• It was confirmed Wednesday that right-hander Beau Burrows (2-6, 5.51 ERA) would miss the remainder of the regular-season due to an oblige injury suffered on August 16 at Pawtucket. The 2015 first-round pick by Detroit made 15 starts in Triple-A this season.
