Series honors service members through ticket donations and community partnerships
MADISON, AL —The Rocket City Trash Pandas, in partnership with Blue Origin, are proud to introduce Warfighter Wednesday, a season-long initiative at Toyota Field dedicated to honoring active-duty service members, veterans, and first responders throughout the 2026 season.
Warfighter Wednesday provides local businesses the opportunity to support those who have served by purchasing group ticket packages to recognize employees who have transitioned from military service into the workforce. Companies may also donate tickets directly to Vet Tix, helping active-duty service members and veterans enjoy a night of Trash Pandas baseball.
Group packages are available in increments of 20, 50, or 100 tickets. Businesses that purchase the 100-ticket package will also receive a dedicated table on the concourse, offering a unique platform to engage with fans and highlight their commitment to hiring veterans. Several participating companies have also chosen to donate their table space to nonprofit organizations, creating additional resources and support networks for active and retired service members attending the game.
On select Wednesdays throughout the season, special in-game recognition moments will feature color guard presentations and large groups participating in on-field patriotic ceremonies, such as holding the American flag in center field. Warfighter Wednesday further reinforces Rocket City's ongoing commitment to honoring those who serve while connecting them with meaningful opportunities in the community.
Vet Tix is playing a major role in the initiative, distributing thousands of tickets throughout the season from April through September. Registered members of Vet Tix can claim tickets by paying only a small convenience fee. First responders are also eligible through 1st Tix, ensuring those who serve on the front lines at home can also take part in the experience.
Businesses interested in participating are encouraged to act quickly, as space is limited to 10 concourse tables per Wednesday. The April 29 date is already sold out. To secure a package or learn more, contact [email protected] or call 256-325-1403 (Ext. 2).
