In the final matchup of the five game series between the Hillsboro Hops and Tri-City Dust Devils, Tri-City managed to salvage a game in a 6-2 victory over Hillsboro.

Tri-City took an early 1-0 lead by means of a Luis Asuncion single, scoring Kelvin Alarcon. Alarcon pinch ran for Olivier Basabe after Basabe exited the game due to injury.
In the top of the second inning, Jose Lezama grounded out to drive in Tre Carter, and Justin Paulsen scored on a Grant Little ground out.
The teams traded zeros until the top of the eighth inning, when the Dust Devils doubled their lead to 6-0. Asuncion drove in his second run of the game on his ninth double of the year. He was promptly followed by Paulsen, who launched a two run home-run -- his first home run in the Northwest League.
Hillsboro showed signs of life, when Jake McCarthy and Francis Martinez launched back to back solo shots, their second and seventh on the year respectively. Martinez's tape-measure shot was to dead-away center, measured at a whopping 434 feet.
2015 Northwest League Pitcher of the Year Carlos Hernandez made his return to Ron Tonkin Field to a warm welcome and struck out one in a clean inning. Jordan Guerrero -- who allowed the first Hops walk-off of the series -- came on to pitch the ninth for Tri-City and threw a scoreless inning to seal the win for the Dust Devils.
