San Jose Giants Offer First-Ever Turkey Mike’s BBQ To-Go

San Jose, CA- It’s Churro Time! The San Jose Giants are thrilled to announce the first Turkey Mike’s to-go event in organization history at Excite Ballpark. In celebration of National Churro Day on Saturday, June 6, the Giants will host an on-field, drive-thru event where Giants fans can pick-up their pre-order of World Famous Turkey Mike’s BBQ, our renowned churros and/or San Jose Giants apparel.

The event will be a modified version of curbside pick-up, starting with all orders being taken in advance online at https://bit.ly/TurkeyMikesToGo. Then, on Saturday, fans will have the unique opportunity to enter the balpark in their cars through the centerfield gate and proceed around the warning track towards the Martinelli’s VIP Deck on the third base line. Pre-ordered food, churros and merchandise will be available for pick-up right from the comfort of their cars. In addition, fans will receive 10% off their entire order at the San Jose Giants Dugout Store and can avoid shipping fees by picking up merchandise on the day of the event.

“Like so many others. the realities of COVID-19 have forced us to think in new and creative ways,” said Ben Taylor, San Jose Giants Chief Operating Officer. “National Churro Day is the perfect opportunity for us to offer our GIANT community a reminder of the sights, smells and memories made at the ballpark.”

The San Jose Giants will be adhering to all social distancing guidelines set forth by the Santa Clara County Health Department. This will include requiring everyone picking up an order on Saturday, June 6 to wear a mask. Additionally, the organization has produced social distancing protocols that, among additional measures, will require all staff members to wear masks, gloves and maintain 6 feet from each other. All food payment will be taken online during pre-order and pick-up will remain contactless with orders being placed directly in cars.
