PORTLAND, ME - The Eastern League is pleased to announce the winners of the Eastern League Player of the Week Award and Eastern League Pitcher of the Week Award for the period of May 28th through June 3rd.

Harrisburg Senators outfielder Adam Brett Walker has been selected as the Eastern League Player of the Week for the period of May 28th-June 3rd. The 26-year old hit .364 (8-for-22) with one double, two triples, two home runs, six RBIs, five runs scored, three walks, and a .864 slugging percentage in seven games last week. Walker, who is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, reached base at least once in all seven games he played in last week and had two multiple hit games during the week. The 6'5", 225 lb. slugger led all Eastern League hitters in slugging percentage (.864), OPS (1.308), total bases (19), and triples (2) last week and tied for the lead in home runs (2) and extra-base hits (5). He also ranked among the weekly league leaders in RBIs (6-tied 9th). Adam, who is hitting .286 with three home runs, nine runs scored, and eight RBIs in 12 games for the Senators this season, was signed by the Washington Nationals as a minor league free agent on May 23, 2018. He was originally selected by the Minnesota Twins in the third round of the 2012 draft out of Jacksonville University. Walker has also spent time with the Milwaukee, Baltimore, Atlanta, and Cincinnati organizations during his career.

Nabil Crismatt, a right-handed starting pitcher for the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, has been selected as the Eastern League Pitcher of the Week for the period of May 28th-June 3rd. The 6'1", 215 lb. hurler started a pair of games for the Rumble Ponies last week and had a record of 2-0 with nine strikeouts and a 1.26 ERA. Crismatt, who is a native of Barranquilla, Colombia, made his first start of the week on Tuesday at Erie and gave up one unearned run over 7.1 innings to earn the win in Binghamton's 2-1 victory. He struck out five batters and walked three while scattering three hits. Nabil made his second appearance of the week on Sunday against the visiting New Hampshire Fisher Cats in the opener of a doubleheader and threw a complete game in Binghamton's 4-2 win. He gave up two runs on four hits while striking out four batters and walking three over seven innings to earn the victory. The 23-year old led all Eastern League pitchers in innings pitched (14.1) and tied for the league lead in wins (2) last week. He also ranked among the weekly leaders in batting average against (.149-6th), strikeouts (9-tied 7th), and ERA (1.26-8th). Nabil, who has a record of 7-2 with a 2.66 ERA in 11 starts this season, was signed by the New York Mets as a minor league free agent on May 31, 2012.
