It was another strong week for the IL's winningest club, as Lehigh Valley won five out of six games
sparked by the hot bat of Nick Williams. As he pushed his overall hitting streak to eleven games,
Williams hit .435 over the past week and led the International League with five home runs, fifteen
RBI, and 26 total bases. Since Louisville arrived in town Friday, he has led an offensive explosion that
has seen the IronPigs win three straight by outscoring the Bats 36-7 with four long balls and eleven
RBI. Williams's big week saw his average climb to .282, and he is now in the top five in the League on
the season in both total bases (88) and slugging (.518).

23-year-old Nick Williams is in his third season in the Phillies organization after coming over from the
Rangers in the 2015 trade for Cole Hamels. He played 125 games for Lehigh Valley in 2016, his first
season playing above the Double-A level. He has yet to make his MLB debut. Williams is a native of Galveston, TX.
