Naturals Team With CBCO for 'Bleed Blue Thursday'
CBCO's Springdale Donor Center is located at 3503 S. Thompson Ave. The Bentonville Donor Center is located at 1400 SE Walton Blvd, just behind Krispy Kreme.
Every participant in the Bleed Blue Thursday Blood Drive will receive two general admission lawn tickets to the Naturals game against the Arkansas Travelers on Tuesday, July 21st. Participants also receive a commemorative blue event t-shirt featuring the Naturals lightning slick "N" logo. Donors may also register for prizes including autographed memorabilia or even the opportunity to throw out the first pitch at the game. There will also be free food and other activities.
The Bleed Blue Thursday Blood Drive is sponsored by Arvest Bank, Cumulus radio stations 98.3 The Keg, News/Talk 1030 KFAY, 92.1 The Ticket and US 94.
"The first Bleed Blue Thursday event last year was an outstanding success," said CBCO Donor Recruitment Manager Meredith Bolt. "This event combines the fun of Naturals baseball with the good feeling that fans will receive from saving lives. It's a Natural!"
CBCO donors provide all of the blood for patients at nine Northwest Arkansas hospitals. Every five minutes, a local patient receives blood that was provided by a CBCO donor.
The Northwest Arkansas Naturals are the Double-A Texas League affiliate of the Kansas City Royals and play at state-of-the-art Arvest Ballpark, located in Springdale.
