Oklahoma City southpaw Manny Bañuelos fired six shutout innings and struck out nine, supported by third baseman Breyvic Valera and shortstop Angelo Mora each driving in two runs, while Omaha center fielder Donnie Dewees clubbed three hits in his Triple-A debut in the Dodgers' 7-1 victory over the Storm Chasers on Thursday evening at Werner Park.

Banuelos (6.0 IP, 5 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 9 K) scattered five hits in his six solid frames pitched to earn his eighth triumph, good for second in the Pacific Coast League. Oklahoma City relievers J.T. Chargois (2.0 IP, 2 H, K) and Ariel Hernández (1.0 IP, 2 H, R, ER, 2 K) finished the final three innings, while Storm Chasers starter Josh Staumont (3.0 IP, 6 H, 6 R, 6 ER, 4 BB, 6 K) suffered the defeat. Omaha relief men Michael Mariot (3.0 IP, H, 3 K) and Jake Newberry (1.0 IP, H) joined forces for four scoreless frames of support.
The Dodgers scored early with a four-spot in the second, highlighted by 1B Edwin Rios' solo homer and Valera's two-run single to right. Oklahoma City added two more tallies in the third via Mora's two-run knock to left prior to RF Henry Ramos capping the club's scoring with a run-scoring single in the fourth. Omaha SS Ramón Torres lofted an RBI double to center to end the Dodgers' shutout hopes in the ninth.
Dewees (3-5, R) led the Storm Chasers with his trio of knocks, with C Parker Morin (2-4, 2B) and 1B Frank Schwindel (2-4, 2B) each adding multi-hit efforts. Oklahoma City C Rocky Gale (3-4, 2 R) posted a team-best three hits, while Ramos (2-5, RBI) was the only other batter from the road side with more than one knock. It was Schwindel's sixth game of two or more hits over his last nine tilts.
The two teams continue their four-game series at Werner Park on Friday evening, with first pitch scheduled for 7:05 p.m. CT. RHP Glenn Sparkman (4-0, 3.79) is anticipated to toe the rubber for the Storm Chasers, with the Dodgers expected to send RHP Guillermo Moscoso (3-4, 4.57) to the hill.
