Chiefs Rained Out in Iowa Wednesday

Game Will be Made Up in May

 Davenport, IA - The game between the Peoria Chiefs and Quad Cities River Bandits scheduled for Wednesday night in Iowa has been postponed. The game will be made up when the Chiefs return to Modern Woodmen Park May 25-28.

 Davenport, IA - The game between the Peoria Chiefs and Quad Cities River Bandits scheduled for Wednesday night in Iowa has been postponed. The game will be made up when the Chiefs return to Modern Woodmen Park May 25-28.

    The postponement is the fourth for the Chiefs this season, two at home and two on the road. The Midwest League has seen 30 postponements already this season with rain, snow and cold weather playing a factor.
     The teams will finish the series with the regularly scheduled 6:35 p.m. game on Thursday. The Chiefs will start RH Jake Walsh (1-0, 2.61) against Quad Cities LH Parker Mushinski (0-0, 0.00).
