Chiefs Team with T-Mobile for Fan Appreciation Week

Peoria, IL-- With the 2021 home slate wrapping up next week, the Chiefs announced plans for Fan Appreciation Week, which begins Tuesday when the Chiefs host Cedar Rapids at Dozer Park. The week-long event is sponsored by T-Mobile and will feature six unique ticket deals, one for each game of the homestand. Additionally, suite specials and discounted group tickets are also available for purchase.

On Tuesday, as part of the Silver Sluggers deal, fans 55 and older are eligible for a free ticket into Dozer Park.

Wednesday’s promotion honors first responders and military personnel, both active and retired. First responders will receive a free ticket to Wednesday’s contest, limit one per customer. The Chiefs will also wear their En el Rio COPA jerseys, as part of MILB’s Hispanic Heritage initiative.

With the final Thirsty Thursday of 2021 on tap for September 16, all college students can purchase a $5 ticket with a valid school ID for Thursday’s contest. As per usual, domestic drafts begin at $2 and there are additional specials on craft beers, which start at $4.

On Friday, the Chiefs will recognize our local medical personnel. With a valid ID badge, all healthcare workers are eligible to receive one free ticket.

Saturday’s game features the final fireworks show of the 2021 season. Local teachers are invited to the ballpark and get in free with their school ID badge.

Sunday’s season finale is Family Day at Dozer Park. All kids under the age of 12 get in free with a paid adult. Additionally, Sunday will also serve as a Bark in the Park afternoon and fans are invited to bring their dogs to the game.

“We really want to take the time to honor our fans this week,” said General Manager Jason Mott. “They have been on the front lines for us and we greatly appreciate their contributions to our community.”

Tickets are available for purchase in-person at the box office. The deal does not apply to online orders. The box office is open from 10:00-4:00 Monday-Thursday and from 10:00-3:00 on Friday. Tickets can also be purchased prior to first pitch on the day of the game. Games are slated for a 6:35 start Tuesday-Saturday. Sunday’s matinee begins at 1:35 p.m. Gates open one hour before first pitch.
