Chico Top Gun Bobblehead Highlights Chihuahuas Six-Game Series vs. Round Rock

EL PASO – June 24, 2021 –The El Paso Chihuahuas will take on the Round Rock Express, the Texas Rangers affiliate, in a 6-game series beginning on Thursday, June 24 through Tuesday, June 29.

The series is highlighted by the first giveaway of the season as well as the GECU Independence Day Celebration complete with a Fireworks Spectacular!

The series kicks off with a jam-packed Thrifty Thursday presented by Prudential. The night also includes Pride Night to celebrate El Paso’s LGBTQ+ community, Thank You Thursday presented by Prudential, and the Chihuahuas will play as the El Paso Margaritas presented by Pepsi. In honor of Margarita Night, the Team Shop will offer 10% off all Margaritas merchandise.

Friday kicks off two nights of Top Gun in anticipation of the Top Gun: Maverick movie release slated for November. The festivities begin on Friday with the first giveaway of 2021 with the Top Gun Chico Bobblehead presented by Vista Markets. The first 1,500 guests through the gates with paid admission and in attendance will receive one (1) bobblehead while supplies last.

Top Gun Celebration continues Saturday with the best Fireworks Spectacular in the region choreographed to the original movie picture soundtrack to the original Top Gun. The Top Gun fun also includes a roll over 50/50 Community Jackpot presented by Texas Gas Service.

Sunday is Kids Day Sunday presented by The Hospitals of Providence and Monday features value deals including the Pepsi Family Pack and Seniors Eat Free presented by Conviva Care Center.

The homestand concludes with GECU Independence Day Celebration. Celebrate America with the Chihuahuas with America’s pastime and the pageantry of the night that is topped off with best Fireworks Spectacular choreographed to patriotic music.

STARS AND STRIPES JERSEY AUCTION

In celebration of America’s birthday, the Chihuahuas will be auctioning the game-worn jerseys. Proceeds will benefit El Paso area non-profit organization via the El Paso Chihuahuas Foundation.

AUCTION RULES:

• The Chihuahuas jersey auction will begin on Thursday, June 24 and end on Tuesday, June 29 at the conclusion of the 7th inning.
• You do not have to be present to bid or win.
• Fans can text "BID" to join the auction at 844-311-5007.
• Purchase must be made on the platform. No cash or credit will be accepted as payment outside of the bid platform.
• Due to MLB's COVID Protocols, fans will not get to meet the player on the field after the game.
• Jerseys will not be available to take home the night of the auction.
• Chihuahuas staff will let you know when your jersey is ready to be picked up.
• Jersey must be paid in full prior to receiving it.
