Former LKing, Reinheimer to make MLB debut

CLINTON, IA (August 1, 2017) - Former Clinton LumberKing shortstop Jack Reinheimer has just been promoted to the Major Leagues and will make his big league debut with the Arizona Diamondbacks. He becomes the fourth former LumberKing and first position player to earn a Major League promotion during the 2017

CLINTON, IA (August 1, 2017) - Former Clinton LumberKing shortstop Jack Reinheimer has just been promoted to the Major Leagues and will make his big league debut with the Arizona Diamondbacks. He becomes the fourth former LumberKing and first position player to earn a Major League promotion during the 2017 season.
Reinhamer, 25, played shortstop for the LumberKings in 2014. He batted .264 with two home runs while driving in 46 runs and stealing 38 bases. He spent the entirety of his 2014 season in Clinton and reached as high as Double-A in the Seattle Mariners farm system before being included in a trade on June 3, 2015 that sent Mark Trumbo to Seattle. The Mariners drafted Reinhamer in the fifth round of the 2013 MLB draft and earns his first promotion to the Major Leagues with over 100 career stolen bases in the minor leagues.
In Clinton, Reinhamer was teammates with pitcher Emilio Pagán another LumberKing player who made his big league debut this season. He becomes the fourth players with ties to Clinton that will make his Major League debut in 2017 and the 272nd player in franchise history to reach the Major League level from Clinton, dating back to 1937.
