Squirrels Announce a "Full House" of Celebrity Guests

Dave Coulier & Diamond Dallas Page Coming to RVA

Richmond, Va. - The Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the World Champion San Francisco Giants, are excited to announce that actor and comedian Dave Coulier and wrestling superstar Diamond Dallas Page will headline the Squirrels celebrity guest list for 2015. Coulier, aka "Uncle Joey" from the popular TV show Full House will entertain fans at The Diamond on April 14th. Additionally, the Squirrels will continue their popular "Legends of Wrestling" series on May 12th with a visit from three-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion Diamond Dallas Page. Both celebrities will sign autographs for free on the concourse during the game and will also be available for a private meet-and-greet before the game in the Little Caesars Tailgate Zone. Meet and greet tickets are $25 (while supplies last) and include an all-you-can-eat buffet and a ticket to the game. Additional celebrities will be announced at a later date.

"Our celebrity guests are always my favorite part of our promotional schedule," Said Flying Squirrels VP & COO Todd "Parney" Parnell. "Having the opportunity to meet and even visit with these guys is such a thrill. Our Legends of Wrestling series has become an event that fans look forward to each year. And the show Full House has become a timeless program for fans of all ages. We are excited to tell Uncle Joey to 'cut it out' when he arrives."

Previous Legends of Wrestling guests include, Hacksaw Jim Dugan, Kevin Nash and Jerry the King Lawler. Diamond Dallas Page, a four-time WCW Tag Team Champion, is currently a fitness instructor and creator of DDP Yoga. He is also scheduled to throw out the first pitch before the game on May 12th.

Coulier is best known from his time playing "Joey" in the hit ABC television series, Full House, which aired for eight seasons (1987-1995). He can now be seen on the Nickelodeon and ABC Family network lineups. Additionally, the show is currently in worldwide syndication in over 100 countries. Dave followed this success by hosting his second prime-time hit series, America's Funniest People, which ran on ABC for four seasons.. He is currently touring throughout the United States and Canada performing standup comedy routines. He too will throw out a first pitch before hs appearance on April 14th. .

The Flying Squirrels 2015 season begins on Thursday, April 9th. Single-Game tickets go on sale at The Diamond during the Flying Squirrels First Friday Fan Fest on March 6th from 5:30PM-8:00PM. Online, phone orders along with box office sales will open to the public the next morning, Saturday March 7th at 9:00AM. The first 100 fans at Fan Fest on March 6th to purchase tickets to the 2015 season will receive a free Squirrels shirt. Music will be provided by Center Stage Band and Happy Hour drink specials will be available from 5:30PM-7:30PM.
