Squirrels Welcome Redskins to Richmond

Training Camp Kickoff, DeAngelo Hall To Throw 1st Pitch
July 28, 2016

Richmond, VA - The Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants, are proud to announce "Welcome to Richmond Day" in conjunction with the Washington Redskins arrival for Training Camp. Welcome to Richmond Day will be hosted at The Diamond on Sunday, July 31st and will highlight the Redskins organization and many of the Training Camp Ambassadors that work with the team throughout camp. The Squirrels will host the Redskins Ambassadors and recognize them for their dedication to the City of Richmond during the game. Redskins Safety DeAngelo Hall, a Virginia native and Virginia Tech alumni, will throw out the ceremonial first pitch. Tickets for the event are available by visiting www.squirrelsbaseball.com. Fans can get a $6 General Admission ticket when they wear Redskins apparel the day of the game. Offer only valid at the ticket booth on July 31, 2016. Limit 4 per person. Cannot t be combined with any other offer. Gates open at 11:00 AM on Sunday July, 31st. About Training Camp Ambassadors:

A Richmond Training Camp Ambassador is a resident of the City of Richmond or the surrounding areas who is there to assist the fans in the Facility and give them information about the City of Richmond.

Redskins Training Camp Information:

The Redskins will bring training camp to Richmond for the fourth-straight year. The Redskins will feature a total of 22 public on-field sessions that will be free and open to the public. Most days will feature full-speed, 11-on-11 football.
