OFFICIAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 2026 OPENING DAY TICKET PURCHASE OPPORTUNITY
NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER THE DRAWING. A PURCHASE IS REQUIRED TO CLAIM TICKETS IF SELECTED.
1. PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The Richmond Flying Squirrels ("Sponsor") are offering fans the opportunity to enter a random drawing ("Lottery") for the chance to purchase single-game tickets to the Opening Night game scheduled for April 7, 2026, at CarMax Park (the "Game"). Selection in the Lottery does not constitute a winning of tickets; it solely grants the specific entrant the restricted right to purchase up to four (4) tickets for the Game, subject to availability.
2. ELIGIBILITY: The Lottery is open to all individuals who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. There are no geographic restrictions on eligibility. Limit one (1) entry per natural person and per email address. Duplicate entries submitted by the same individual or email address will be disqualified.
3. REGISTRATION PERIOD: Registration begins on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, and concludes on Friday, February 27, 2026, at 11:59 PM Eastern Time (the "Registration Period"). Sponsor's computer is the official time-keeping device for the Lottery.
4. SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION: Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received. Winners will be notified via the email address provided at registration between March 4 and March 6, 2026.
- Action Required: The notification email will contain a unique, non-transferable link to purchase tickets.
- Time Limit: Winners must complete their purchase within twenty-four (24) hours of the timestamp on the notification email. If a purchase is not made within this window, the unique link will expire, and the opportunity to purchase will be forfeited without compensation.
5. TICKET PURCHASE RESTRICTIONS:
- Purchase Limit: A maximum of four (4) tickets may be purchased per Winning Entrant.
- Non-Transferability of Right: The opportunity to purchase is personal to the selected entrant. The purchase link and access code are non-transferable. The name on the ticket purchase account/credit card must match the name on the Lottery entry. Any attempt to sell, auction, or transfer the purchase link to another party will result in immediate disqualification.
- Transferability of Tickets: Once tickets are validly purchased by the Winning Entrant, the physical or digital tickets themselves may be transferred or resold in accordance with the Sponsor’s standard ticket policies and applicable law.
6. NO PRIZE VALUE: Entrants acknowledge that they are entering a drawing for the opportunity to purchase goods. This Lottery has no cash value, and no free tickets or prizes are awarded.
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS: By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Terms and Conditions and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Lottery if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Lottery, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
8. DISPUTES/GOVERNING LAW: These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any legal action or proceeding arising out of or relating to this Lottery shall be instituted in a state or federal court in Richmond, Virginia.
