The win increased the team's division lead to three games over Corpus Christi with nine games left to play in the first half. The Missions magic number was reduced to seven games.
Cal Quantrill worked 5 2/3 innings to claim his third straight win.
Josh Naylor added to his league-leading RBI total by driving in three. Naylor has knocked in 50 runs in 59 games this year.
Allen's performance marked the eighth time this season that a Mission hitter slugged two homeruns in the game. It was his first such performance this season and the second multi-homerun game in his career
The Missions won for the first time at Whataburger Field. They were swept in a four-game set here in May.
San Antonio inflicted most of the damage within the first four innings by scoring seven times. They chased starter Yoanys Quiala after three innings.
Quiala fired seven scoreless innings in May when he last faced the Missions.
