Sky Sox Renew Agreement With Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group

Sky Sox partner with Milwaukee Brewers on new agreement with Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group as Team Physicians

The Sky Sox announced today that they have extended their partnership with Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group as the organization's official team physicians entering the 2017 baseball season. The agreement ensures that Sky Sox and Milwaukee Brewers players will receive the most up-to-date training and medical services available.

"As one of the foremost orthopedic groups in Colorado, we know our players will have the best care possible while allowing them to reach their full potential on the field."

With players' health and well-being being of paramount importance, the partnership and communication between the Colorado Springs Sky Sox, Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group and the Milwaukee Brewers will ensure the Sky Sox are at their best when they take the field. Another large piece of this official partnership includes one of Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group's biggest current initiatives which is community involvement. Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group has partnered throughout southern Colorado & through its Sky Sox partnership, this community involvement is fully represented through two major programs: "2017 Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group Little League Celebration Day" & "2017 Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group Hometown Stars Recognition Series".

The 2017 "Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group Little League Celebration Day" takes place at Security Service Field on Saturday, June 17th through the morning & afternoon leading into a 6:00pm Saturday Night game vs. the Oklahoma City Dodgers that includes a special Star Wars Themed Fireworks Extravaganza. All-star teams from area youth sports programs, such as YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region, High Plains Little League, Colorado Springs Little League, West El Paso County Little League and Academy Little League will face off through 5 games on the same field where the Sky Sox play.

The 2017 "Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group Hometown Stars Recognition Series" will occur up to 5 times over the course of the 2017 Sky Sox season. Through this partnership, Sky Sox & Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group have teamed up to recognize our area high school student-athletes who have gone above & beyond both on the playing field & in the classroom. Sky Sox & Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group will select up to 5 winners over the course of the 2017 season to be recognized at Security Service Field before 5 pre-determined Sky Sox games. Student-athletes, area athletic directors, coaches, teachers, administrators and parents can submit an application to recognize their chosen "Colorado Springs Orthopaedic Group Hometown Star" by clicking here and filling out the form online throughout the 2017 season. Individuals can also pick up and fill out nomination forms at Security Service Field.
