FAQ Hero

As a loyal member of the South Bend Cubs family, we feel it is important to share regular updates that we are marking for the 2021 season.

Nothing is more important than the health and safety of our guests and employees. While we always strive to maintain the highest standards when it comes to cleaning and maintaining our facilities, we will be taking it even further this year by doubling the number of hand sanitizers and updating our touchless restroom facilities.

We are in regular communication with the Saint Joseph County Health Department and continue to follow the most up to date CDC guidelines. With that in mind, we wanted to provide you with the most up to date information as we move forward with 2021 season.

This page is updated every Monday by 5:00pm. Last Update: 03/29/21

How many fans will be allowed to attend games at Four Winds Field this season?

When state and local guidelines are announced for our first game day dates, we will post those, allowable attendance numbers, and other COVID-19 protocols.

Will I be able to seek player autographs this year at the ballpark?

COVID-19 protocols developed by MLB for its players, requires fans to remain at six feet or more from the players. Until restrictions are lifted by MLB, players will not be allowed to sign autographs or engage with fans. When this changes, we will announce it on this page and on social media. We appreciate your understanding!

2020 Tickets

I have tickets from 2020, what do I do with them?

Fans who purchased special packages like our Black Friday Ticket Package and our Championship Ticket Package have been notified that their packages will be honored throughout the 2021 season. Opening Day VIP packages purchased for the 2020 season will also be honored for our home opener on May 4th this year (more information to come). Fans who purchased individual game tickets for the 2020 season will be invited to exchange their tickets out for 2021 games once our individual game tickets go on sale to the general public in April. If you are a season seat holder or a group leader that purchased tickets for the 2020 season, please contact your South Bend Cubs representative directly for more information. Fans that have questions regarding past ticket purchases can also call the South Bend Cubs Box Office at 574-235-9988 for assistance during regular business hours.

Food & Beverage

Will you be selling my favorite ballpark foods and drink this summer?

You can’t have a baseball game without hot dogs, and we have the best hot dogs in baseball! Many of your favorite food items will be available for the 2021 season including the popular Philly Steak Nachos! Once our menu has been finalized, we will post it here. Please note, food and stand availability is subject to change.

Masks and Physical Distancing

Will I need to wear my mask to the ballpark this season and what other rule changes will there be?

All guests two years or older and South Bend Cubs staff will be required to wear a face covering at all times, unless you're actively eating or drinking while seated. Face coverings should fully cover your mouth and nose and fit snugly against the sides of your face so there are no gaps.

To ensure physical distancing at Four Winds Field, we're implementing limited-capacity seating for the start of the 2021 season. Additional details will be available in the coming weeks. Visual markers, signage and queue lines will be in place throughout the stadium to ensure physical distancing compliance, facilitate traffic flow and prevent congestion in high-traffic areas. Additional ballpark policies may be implemented. Those updates will be posted at here.

On-Field Promotions

Will the South Bend Cubs have their traditional on-field contests and in-stadium hijinks this summer?

Given the current COVID-19 protocols, our game day entertainment may be a little different, but our team is working hard to plan a fun, family-friendly experience. Additional details will be available here as we get closer to Opening Night.

Promotional & Giveaway Nights

Will the South Bend Cubs have promotional theme nights this season like Star Wars Night, Margaritaville Night, and Comic Book Hero Night?

Promotional nights and giveaways are a staple of Minor League Baseball. As 2021 has been an ever-evolving year, our promotional schedule may also be fluid. You can count on some of your favorite weekly theme nights like Fantastic Friday Fireworks and Flat Screen Saturday. But more information on giveaways and themes will be released in the coming weeks. Thanks for your patience. We know you’ll like what we have planned.

Stadium Cleanliness

Is Four Winds Field prepared to provide a clean and healthy environment for fans?

Since Andrew Berlin purchased the club in 2011, safety and cleanliness have been the top priorities for the staff at Four Winds Field during all games and events. In addition to our regular cleaning schedule, we will be taking additional precautions and implementing advanced safety protocols as recommended by the CDC and local health officials. Currently, the organization quadrupled the number of hand sanitizers around the ballpark and in common areas during regular business hours.
