As a loyal member of the South Bend Cubs family, we feel it is important to share regular updates that we are marking for the 2023 season.

Nothing is more important than the health and safety of our guests and employees. While we always strive to maintain the highest standards when it comes to cleaning and maintaining our facilities, we will be taking it even further this year by doubling the number of hand sanitizers and updating our touchless restroom facilities.

We are in regular communication with the Saint Joseph County Health Department and continue to follow the most up to date CDC guidelines. With that in mind, we wanted to provide you with the most up to date information as we move forward with 2023 season.

Attendance

How many fans will be allowed to attend games at Four Winds Field this season?

At this time, there are no attendance restrictions at Four Winds Field. The stadium can be at full capacity.

Autographs

Will I be able to seek player autographs this year at the ballpark?

Major League Baseball has yet to officially announce an autograph policy for Minor League Baseball. When this changes, we will announce it on this page and on social media. We appreciate your understanding!

Food & Beverage

Will you be selling my favorite ballpark foods and drink this summer?

You can’t have a baseball game without hot dogs, and we have the best hot dogs in baseball! Many of your favorite food items will be available for the 2023 season including the popular Philly Steak Nachos! You can find our complete menu here. Please note, food and stand availability is subject to change.

Masks and Physical Distancing

Will I need to wear my mask to the ballpark this season and what other rule changes will there be?

Major League Baseball has made the decision to defer any fan related COVID restrictions to local and state municipalities. The Saint Joseph County Health Department and City of South Bend have rescinded the mask ordinance based off the recommendation from the CDC.

Effective as of Tuesday, May 18, 2021 the South Bend Cubs will no longer require vaccinated fans to wear a mask while attending events at Four Winds Field. The Cubs are recommend that non-vaccinated individuals continue to wear a mask at the ballpark.

On-Field Promotions

Will the South Bend Cubs have their traditional on-field contests and in-stadium hijinks this summer?

As of this writing, all on-field promotions and contests are back for 2023.

Promotional & Giveaway Nights

Will the South Bend Cubs have promotional theme nights this season like Star Wars Night, Dino Day, and Marvel Super Hero Day?

Promotional nights and giveaways are a staple of Minor League Baseball and many of your favorite promotions are back. The 2023 Promotional Schedule will be released in the coming months.

Stadium Cleanliness

Is Four Winds Field prepared to provide a clean and healthy environment for fans?

Since Andrew Berlin purchased the club in 2011, safety and cleanliness have been the top priorities for the staff at Four Winds Field during all games and events. In addition to our regular cleaning schedule, we will be taking additional precautions and implementing advanced safety protocols as recommended by the CDC and local health officials. Currently, the organization quadrupled the number of hand sanitizers around the ballpark and in common areas during regular business hours.
