Bat Person: Assists the team by collecting player’s equipment and foul balls as well as communicating with umpires for any needs they may have (30-minutes pre-game to approximately 1.5-hours postgame). Additional duties may include collecting home run balls during batting practice and assisting Clubhouse Managers with cleaning postgame (Approximately a 3-hour shift starting 3 to 4 hours before the scheduled game time).
*Concessions Cashier (21+): Assists guests with food and beverage transactions, gathers food to fill orders, pours beer, and helps with nightly stand clean-up and dishes.
Concessions Stocker: Keeps assigned concessions stands and caterings stocked with food and beverages.
*Food Prep – Day Shift: Prepares food products such as popcorn, kettle corn, cotton candy, catering trays, preorders, sauces, etc. to be sold during games; most shifts will start at 10:00 AM with limited shifts on non-gamedays.
*Food Prep – Game Shift: Prepares and delivers food for the concessions stands and assists with nightly closedown including kitchen clean up, dishes, laundry, and more.
*Green Team – Day Shift (6:00 AM – 2:00 PM): Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of Avista Stadium by deep cleaning (backpack blowing, pressure washing, etc.) seating areas, hospitality areas, and the outer concourse on a daily basis. This position typically has the opportunity for the most hours among gameday team positions and parts of this position can be physically demanding.
*Green Team – Game Shift (Start of Game – Approx. 1-hour postgame): Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of Avista Stadium by cleaning spills, educating guests on the Spokane Indians sustainability campaign, and sorting compost, recycling, and landfill items.
*Grounds Crew (18+) – Game Shift (3:00 PM to Approx. 1-hour postgame): Prepares the field at Avista Stadium prior to all home games and events by mowing the grass, edging the infield, grooming the bullpens, etc.
Kids Zone Team Member: Monitors the Kids Zone and Molina Field for kids to play in a safe and fun environment.
Mascot Team/Program Hawker: Provides entertainment to groups by making appearances as team mascots throughout the Spokane area or during the Spokane Indians home games, assists mascot team in guiding mascots through the stadium, prepares and hands out gameday programs throughout the stadium.
*Mobile Order Runner (18+): Organizes and delivers food and beverages to lower box seats and hospitality areas within the stadium and assists in the daily setup and inventory of the mobile order area and skyboxes
Stadium Host (18+): Provides on-field/in-stadium entertainment during the Spokane Indians home games; works closely with the Spokane Indians front office team and the Press Box team to successfully fulfill corporate partnership elements.
Restroom Attendant: Maintains the cleanliness of the public restrooms at Avista Stadium by ensuring the areas are well kept and stocked with supplies at all times while providing outstanding customer service to the fans.
Section Leader (18+): Helps guests find their seats proactively, keeps sections safe and clean, and mingles with fans to enhance the stadium experience.
Security (18+): Includes all responsibilities of a Section Leader and also keeps the stadium safe by educating guests about stadium rules, controlling traffic, and assisting with emergencies.
Team Store Cashier: Assists guests with merchandise purchases, folds apparel, and maintains the cleanliness and order of the Indians Team Store.
Ticket Taker: Greets all guests that enter Avista Stadium with aggressive friendliness and points guests in the right direction toward their seats.
