TOP PERFORMERS

Evan Shawver stepped up in relief of Palmquist and kept Spokane in the game, allowing just three hits and no walks in 4.1 innings of scoreless work out of the bullpen. The southpaw out of Cincinnati is enjoying his best month of the season in July, with a 2.45 ERA in three appearances spanning 7.1 innings.

Center fielder Benny Montgomery finished 1-for-3 with an RBI and a stolen base to extend his hitting streak to seven games. The No. 8 overall pick in the 2021 MLB Draft is batting .354 (23-for-65) with five doubles, one triple, two home runs, six RBI, and four stolen bases in the month of June.

Brayan Castillo (3 IP, 0 H, 0 BB, 2 K) and Juan Mejia (1 IP, 0 H, 0 BB, 2 K) closed out the game with four spotless innings of relief.
