Trevor Boone blasted a three-run homer and reached base five times total as the Indians topped the AquaSox, 9-3, in front of 1,759 fans at Avista Stadium for Colorado Baseball Flyaway Night presented by Spokane International Airport & 105.7 Now FM.

TOP PERFORMERS

Boone entered the game with just one hit in his first 16 at-bats but busted out in a big way on a crisp Wednesday evening at Avista Stadium. The former Oklahoma State Cowboy drilled an opposite-field shot off Everett starter Marcelo Perez to stake Spokane to an early lead and later added two walks, a single, a HBP, and an RBI.

Kyle Karros and Braiden Ward both had three hits while Juan Guerrero added a pair of base knocks in the win.

Spokane starter Blake Adams (1-0) delivered another quality outing, allowing just one earned run on three hits over five innings. Relievers Tyler Ahearn, Carson Skipper, and Brayan Castillo combined for three scoreless innings from the bullpen to close out the game.
