The Indians fell into a big hole early and couldn't mount a comeback as they fell to the visiting Canadians, 9-4, in front of 4,146 fans and 164 dogs at Avista Stadium for Bark in the Park and Spokane Chiefs Hockey Night presented by TDS Fiber. The loss dropped Spokane (60-58) 2 1/2 games backs of Vancouver (62-55) for the final Northwest League playoff spot.
TOP PERFORMERS
Designated hitter Drew Romo finished 3-for-4 with a double to pace the offense.
Mateo Gil and Eddy Diaz both finished with a pair of base hits in the loss.
Anderson Bido and Blake Goldsberry both provided a scoreless inning of relief out of the bullpen.

On game days, the office and team store are open from 10:00 AM through the end of the game.
