Indians Come Up Short in Doubleheader with Canadians

The Spokane Indians dropped both games of a doubleheader to the Canadians, 6-4 and 5-4, in front of 3,646 fans at Avista Stadium for the Spokane County Fair Doubleheader presented by Cascadia Screen Printing.

TOP PERFORMERS

Colin Simpson finished 3-for-3 in the first game of the doubleheader including his team-leading 16th home run of the seasoon.

Hunter Goodman and Mateo Gil both picked up a pair of hits in game one.

Bladimir Restituyo homered in the second game while adding two runs and a walk.

AROUND THE NORTHWEST LEAGUE

Andy Thomas's grand slam led Eugene (73-46) over Everett (56-65) by the final of 6-2.

Hillsboro (55-65) doubled up the Dust Devils (51-68) by the score of 6-3.
