Indians Leapfrogged by AquaSox in 7-6 Loss

Spokane, Wash. - The Indians rallied late but couldn't overcome an early five-run deficit as the fell to the visiting Everett AquaSox, 7-6, in front of 3,742 fans at Avista Stadium for Baseball Hat Giveaway Night presented by Pepsi and The Inlander.

TOP PERFORMERS

Eddy Diaz finished 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, a run, and an RBI.

Julio Carreras finished 3-for-4 with a pair of doubles.

Bladimir Restituyo connected on his second home run in the last three games and fourth in his last eight contests.

AROUND THE NORTHWEST LEAGUE

Eugene (36-24) scored five runs in the first and cruised to a 5-2 win over Tri-City (28-32).
