Williams Wows in Spokane Debut as Indians Win 6-2

Case Williams made himself right at home in Spokane. The hard-throwing right-hander struck out nine and allowed just one earned run over five frames in his High-A debut as the Indians emerged triumphant over the Emeralds, 6-2, in front of 4,342 fans at Avista Stadium for Wands & Wizards Night presented by the Washington Air National Guard and KREM 2.

TOP PERFORMERS

Williams' nine strikeouts tied a season high and he improved to 10-2 overall between Spokane and Fresno with the win.

Bullpen baron Adam McKillican tossed two scoreless frames with a pair of strikeouts—lowering his season ERA to 0.85 in the process.

Colin Simpson finished 2-for-4 to extend his hitting streak to 12 games.

Outfielder Bladimir Restituyo recorded three RBIs while every hitter in Spokane's lineup finished with at least one hit
