PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - The St. Lucie Mets are excited to announce that Friday, September 1, is Tim Tebow Bobble Head Night.

The game vs. the Palm Beach Cardinals is the final home game of the 2017 season. It starts at 6:30 p.m.

The Tebow bobble head is presented by Florida Power and Light. For $20 fans receive a ticket to the game and are guaranteed a Tebow bobble head. Portions of the proceeds will be donated to the Hibiscus Children's Center and the Tim Tebow Foundation on behalf of FPL and the Mets.

Only 2,000 bobble heads will be distributed, so fans are encouraged to purchase their tickets well in advance. There will be an exclusive window to purchase the bobble head game tickets in person at the First Data Field box office today and Wednesday. Bobble head game tickets will be available online at www.stluciemets.com and over the phone (772-871-2115) starting Thursday at 10 a.m.

The bobble head features Tebow wearing his home St. Lucie Mets jersey.

Tebow, who won the Heisman Trophy in 2007 and is a two-time National Championship quarterback for the Florida Gators, is wrapping up his first season in the Mets minor league system. He has been a regular in the St. Lucie Mets outfield since arriving to the team in late June.
