TACOMA, WA (June 30, 2025) — Harry Ford has put together a strong season in his first year at Triple-A, hitting over .300 with eight home runs and 43 RBI. His talents will be put on display for the rest of the baseball world to see at Truist Park in Atlanta July 12 as Ford was named to the American League roster for the 2025 MLB All-Star Futures Game as part of All-Star weekend in Ford’s hometown of Atlanta.

Ford, 22, is currently rated MLB Pipeline’s No. 5 prospect in the Mariners’ system and the No. 59 overall prospect. Drafted with the 12th overall pick in the 2021 First-Year Player Draft, Ford earns his third consecutive selection to the prospect showcase, having been tabbed a Futures Game pick in 2023 with High-A Everett and in 2024 with Double-A Arkansas. In his two appearances in the game, Ford has drawn a walk and struck out.

The Atlanta, Georgia native is hitting .305/.418/.459 with 12 doubles, eight home runs and 43 RBI in 61 games. His .418 on-base percentage is the second-best in the PCL and the fifth-best in Triple-A. The 43 walks Ford has drawn this season are tied for the ninth-most among all minor league catchers and his .877 OPS is the fourth-best among Triple-A players that are 22 years old or younger. Ford set the league on fire in the month of May, when his .411 batting average for the month was the best for any Rainier in a single month (min 80 PA) since Justin Smoak hit .415 in August of 2014. His 37 hits in May were the most for any Rainier in a single month since Ian Miller logged 41 hits in May of 2019.

Ford is the 13th Rainier to be selected to the Futures Game and the first since Jarred Kelenic went in 2021. Ford is one of three Mariners farmhands to be selected to the game, joining outfielder Lazaro Montes and switch-pitcher Jurrangelo Cijntje.

The MLB All-Star Futures Game will take place at 4PM (ET) on Saturday July 12 at Truist Park in Atlanta. Fans will be able to watch on MLB Network, as well as MLB.TV and MLB.com.
