Tacoma Rainiers vs. Sacramento River Cats Sunday Game Postponed due to Inclement Weather

Game will be made up as part of a doubleheader on Sunday, July 25; tickets exchangeable for any date except July 3

TACOMA, WA – Sunday’s matchup between the Tacoma Rainiers and Sacramento River Cats was postponed due to inclement weather. The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader (two 7-inning games) at Cheney Stadium on Sunday, July 25, with first pitch of game one beginning at 12:05 p.m.

The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader (two 7-inning games) at Cheney Stadium on Sunday, July 25, with first pitch of game one beginning at 12:05 p.m. PT and game two scheduled to start at 5:05 PM. Fans will be required to exit Cheney Stadium between games, and single-game tickets for each game will be sold separately.

Single-game ticket buyers can exchange their tickets to Sunday’s game, in-person only, at the Cheney Stadium box office, which is open Monday-Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on non-game days, and 10 a.m. until two hours after first pitch on all Rainiers home game days. Tickets are exchangeable for all dates except Saturday, July 3.

Ticket buyers for the July 25 game, originally scheduled for 1:35 p.m., will retain their seats for game one of the doubleheader at 12:05 p.m.

Season ticket holders will have tickets to game two of the July 25 doubleheader auto-populated to their accounts. They can also expect to be contacted by their Tacoma Rainiers sales representative.

The Rainiers were scheduled to play their first Copa de la Diversión game of the season on Sunday under the La Familia de Tacoma moniker. The “Copa” game has been rescheduled for game two of the July 25 doubleheader, with food, entertainment and La Familia de Tacoma uniforms that celebrate Latin culture in the region and around the world.

The Rainiers and River Cats will continue their series on Monday at Cheney Stadium. First pitch is scheduled for 6:05 p.m. PT.
