The Tennessee Smokies lost the final game of the series to the Birmingham Barons 4-1 to fall four games back in the Southern League North with 12 games remaining in the first half.
Ky Bush (5-2) started for the Barons (37-20) and pitched six innings only allowing one hit and one unearned run.
Offensively, Edgar Queen capped off his phenomenal series with two more hits and two more walks including a home run. He finished 13-for-21 in the series.
The Smokies (33-24) lone RBI came from Moises Ballesteros who now has a team leading 34 on the year.
Next week the Smokies travel to Biloxi to take on the Shuckers for six games starting on Tuesday.
