The Tennessee Smokies beat the Rocket City Trash Pandas 4-1 to even up the series at a game apiece on Wednesday night.
Caden Dana (2-3) started for Rocket City (17-17) and came into the start as one of the top Southern League pitchers. Dana was chased from the game in the fourth inning after giving up three runs on four hits and three walks.
Chris Kachmar started for Tennessee (20-15) and pitched 3.2 innings allowing one run. The Smokies used four more arms to shut down the Trash Pandas bats. Cam Sanders got his second save of the year.
The two teams will meet again tomorrow at 7 p.m. ET.
