Drillers Announce 2027 Schedule

The 2027 regular season schedule for the Tulsa Drillers has been set in what will be the 50th Anniversary season for the Drillers franchise. For the first time in three years, the Drillers will begin the season on the road, opening the campaign on Friday, April 2 in Springfield in what will be a three-game series with the Cardinals.

The Drillers home opener at ONEOK Field will take the place the following week, on Tuesday, April 6 versus Wichita. That opening series will consist of six games that will mark the start of the 2027 version of the Coors Light Propeller Series.

The 2027 schedule format in the Double-A Texas League is the same as in recent seasons, consisting of 138 regular season games, split evenly with 69 home games and 69 road games. Mondays will continue to be league-wide off days throughout the season. The schedule will include first and second halves with the first half ending on Sunday, June 20.

The Drillers will be at home for all three summer, holiday weekends beginning with Memorial Day Weekend in May. They will host Amarillo for six games at the end of May with the final three games taking place on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of the holiday weekend on May 28-30.

A rare home series with Frisco will headline the long July 4th Holiday Weekend. The RoughRiders will open a series at ONEOK Field on Tuesday, June 29 with the set of games running for six straight days through the Independence Day holiday on Sunday, July 4. It will be the first visit to Tulsa since the 2022 season for the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers.

In September, Tulsa will open its final home stand of the regular season on Labor Day on Monday, September 6. The Drillers will host the Midland RockHounds for six games in that final series with the last game of the 2027 regular season scheduled for Sunday, September 12.

The Drillers will also be home for Mother’s Day on Sunday, May 9 and for Father’s Day on Sunday, June 20.

June will be the busiest month at ONEOK Field. The Drillers will play consecutive home series on June 8-13 and June 15-20 with Wichita providing the opposition in the first series and Corpus Christi in the second.

Those two series will be 12 of the 14 home games in June. There will be 12 home games in each of the months of April, May and July and 13 home games in August. The regular season will wrap up with 6 home games in September.

Every team in the Texas League, with the exception of San Antonio, will visit ONEOK Field at least once during the regular season.

Official starting times and a complete promotional calendar for the 2027 campaign will be announced at a later date.
