Three Independence Weekend Fireworks Shows Highlight Home Series with Arkansas

The Tulsa Drillers will open the second half of the 2022 season at ONEOK Field with a six-game series against the Arkansas Travelers that will include three games during the Fourth of July Holiday Weekend. The Drillers will host the Travelers from Tuesday, June 28 through Sunday, July 3. The final three games of the series on July 1-3 will feature large, post-game Fireworks Shows in celebration of Independence Day.

The series will be the first meetings this season between the two division rivals.

All but one of the games in the series will begin at 7:05 p.m. The lone exception will be the finale on Sunday, July 3 that will start at 6:05 p.m.

In addition to the three Independence Weekend Fireworks Shows, other promotions in the series will include $2 Tuesday on June 28, Paws and $3 White Claws on June 29 and Thirsty Thursday on June 30.

The six games with the Travelers will mark the only home games for the Drillers in a 32-day span.

COX $2 TUESDAY

The homestand begins with a night of deals with Cox $2 Tuesday! Fans can purchase Ferguson KIA Lawn and Budweiser Terrace tickets for just $3 each (includes $1 Oklahoma professional sports fee), while all other tickets are discounted $5 off normal prices! Fans can also purchase hot dogs, popcorn, sodas and ice cream sandwiches for only $2 each as well as get $2 off Mazzio’s Go Pizzas. Lastly, Busch Light will be on sale for $2 per serving between 6-8 p.m. on the concourse behind home plate. It’s all made possible by TulsaRecycles.com, Cox, 106.1 The Twister and 92.1 The Beat.

PAWS AND $3 WHITE CLAWS

Come enjoy a game with your best friend on Paws and $3 White Claws night presented by City of Tulsa: Save Our Streams, City Vet Hospital, 94.1 KXOJ and 100.9 KTSO. Fans are invited to bring their dogs to the game and enjoy the action from the Ferguson KIA Lawns or the Budweiser Terrace. Dogs do not need tickets but must have a record of up-to-date rabies vaccinations and can enter with their owners through the Union Home Mortgage First Base Gate or the Oil Derrick Gate. Plus, fans ages 21 and over, can enjoy White Claws for just $3 per serving.

DOG PARADE

Dogs accompanied by their owners get the opportunity to walk a lap around the field in the pre-game dog parade. Lineup for the parade will start at 6:15 p.m. in the Hornsby's Hangout on the left field concourse, with the parade starting at 6:30 p.m. Every dog that participates will receive a free flying disk, courtesy of Pet Supplies Plus.

My41 THIRSTY THURSDAY/BUCKET HAT GIVEAWAY

It’s one of the most fun nights of the week thanks to Thirsty Thursday at ONEOK Field presented by Strikeout Stroke, Hillcrest, Saint Francis, My41 and 97.5 KMOD! Fans can enjoy Miller Lite and Coors Light for only $2 per serving in the left and right field concourses. In addition, Corona Seltzers will be on sale for only $3 each and Blue Moons for just $4 per serving. As a bonus for DrillVille fans, Hop & Sting Brewing Co. will have Weisser Time and Aluminum Cowboy discounted to just $4 per serving. Soft drinks will also be available for only $2 per serving at the main concessions stands.

DRILLERS BUCKET HAT GIVEAWAY

The first 1,000 fans to enter through either the Union Home Mortgage, Oil Derrick or Osage Casino Hotel/Greenwood gates will receive a patriotic-themed, Drillers bucket hat just in time for the Fourth of July!

FOX23 FRIDAY NIGHT FIREWORKS

It’s the first of three consecutive nights of fireworks to celebrate Fourth of July Weekend! The night will begin with a Busch Scoreboard Bar Happy Hour from 6-7 p.m. where 20-oz. domestic draft beers can be purchased for just $4 each and craft drafts can be purchased for $6 each. The night will conclude with a Fireworks Show following the game. Friday Night Fireworks are made possible by Don Thornton Cadillac, FOX23 and K95.5.
STARS & STRIPES CAP AUCTION
All weekend long, fans can bid on the Drillers Stars & Stripes on-field autographed caps in a silent auction located in front of the Team Store. All proceeds will benefit the Drillers Foundation to help give back to the community.

OBI BLOOD DRIVE
From 2-8 p.m. the Oklahoma Blood Institute will have six blood mobiles outside ONEOK Field for fans to stop by and donate blood. Every person who donates blood will receive two tickets for the Saturday, July 23 game and Fireworks Show!
T-TOWN TNR MYSTERY BASEBALL FUNDRAISER
Come try your luck as fans can purchase a “mystery bag” which contains a baseball signed by a Tulsa Drillers, an OKC Dodgers, Los Angeles Dodgers or another major league player! One bag will contain a gold wrapped baseball which is good for four tickets to a future Drillers game and a chance to throw out a first pitch! All proceed will benefit T-Town TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return).

BAT DOG

Muleta the Bat Dog from Sit Means Sit will be in attendance grabbing the Drillers bats from the 1st through the 5th inning. Make sure to stop by and give her a pet during the game behind home plate!

Its night two of our Independence Weekend Fireworks Extravaganzas, presented by the United States Marine Corps, NewsChannel 8 and AM 1430 The Buzz. To begin the night, there will be a Busch Scoreboard Bar Happy Hour from 6-7 p.m. where 20-oz. domestic draft beers can be purchased for just $4 each and craft drafts can be purchased for $6 each.
