SAN JOSE, CA - The San Jose Giants took a lead in the bottom of the first inning and hit three home runs tonight to cruise past the Rawhide 10-2.

Dillon Dobson put San Jose (45-51/8-16) on top with a two-run double in the first and the Giants added on in the third when Wander Franco hit into a run-scoring double play.

Jalen Miller and Franco hit back-to-back homers in the fifth to pad the San Jose lead and Kelvin Beltre started a three-run rally in the sixth with a solo shot. The final Giants run came on a two-out double by Jacob Heyward in the seventh.

Austin Mason (L, 2-5) pitched three innings in his first start of the year and allowed three runs on three hits with four strikeouts. Riley Smith followed and was tagged for a season-high six runs on five hits in two innings.

Visalia (47-47/10-14) recorded ten hits but was held to just two runs. Pavin Smith put up a three-hit night with three singles and Luis Alejandro Basabe recorded the only RBI of the game with a pair of doubles. Renae Martinez also had two singles.

Jason Morozowski's eleven-game hitting streak came to an end as he drew two walks in four plate appearances. The Rawhide had four hits in 14 at bats with runners in scoring position, but only Basabe's double brought home a run.
