Harrisburg scored the only run it needed in the third inning, when Michael Taylor opened the inning with a double, moved to third on a ground out and scored on a wild pitch by starting pitcher Johendi Jiminian. Jose Marmolejos ripped an upper deck home run down the right field line to make it 2-0 and Dan Gamache added an RBI-single in the eighth inning.
Jiminian pitched 2.2 innings and allowed two runs on four hits. He walked one and struck out two. Will Lamb gave up a run on three hits in 3.1 innings, while walking one and striking out five. Shane Broyles pitched a scoreless seventh inning.
