Rain Postpones Final Game Before All-Star Break

RailRiders Enter League-Wide Respite with Wins in Three of Four

Rochester, N.Y. - The series finale between the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders (Triple-A/New York Yankees) and Rochester Red Wings (Minnesota Twins) was postponed due to rain on Sunday afternoon. The teams will make the game up when they next meet in Rochester on Aug. 23 at 4:35 p.m.

The RailRiders get a well-deserved three-day All-Star break starting Monday. They enter the short hiatus with wins in three of four. One RailRider does not get three days off as All-Star Jose Pirela will start for the IL's best at second base against the PCL's All-Star squad on Wednesday in Durham, N.C. The RailRiders open an eight-game road trip the next day in another North Carolina city, Charlotte.

John Sadak will have the radio play-by-play call of Thursday's affair against the Knights (Chicago White Sox).
