Brewers' Davis Expected to Play in Beloit
BELOIT, Wisc. - The Beloit Snappers open up a short two game home stand on Thursday, July 2nd against the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers, affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers. Khris Davis will be on the roster for Wisconsin and expected to play, as he will be doing a Minor League rehab assignment with the Timber Rattlers.
The Milwaukee Brewers outfielder was sidelined earlier this month with a torn meniscus. Davis is batting .250 while hitting 10 doubles, two triples, and five homers in 46 games this season for Milwaukee.
On Thursday, July 2nd you can play Ball Park Bingo and win prizes, courtesy of Grand Avenue Pub. Must be 21 years of age to play. The Snappers will also be giving away a free 40" flat screen TV, thanks to Sam's Club. You can get your Ball Park Bingo card and sign up for the flat screen TV giveaway at the Grommes Millwork fan services booth in the concourse. Game time is at 7:00 PM on Thursday. Gates open at 6:00 PM.
We will be celebrating the Independence of our great nation on Friday, July 3rd before the Snappers go on the road for the 4th of July. Game time on Friday is 7:00 PM and gates open at 6:00 PM. The Snappers will be wearing military camouflage jerseys during the game, courtesy of the Wisconsin Army National Guard. The camo jerseys will be sold in a silent auction during the game. After the game there will be a Patriotic themed fireworks show, presented by Bolgrien, Koepke, and Kimes S.C. and the Huntley, IL Snappers Fan Club.
