About the Foundation

The Arkansas Travelers Youth Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) public charity that serves as the official team charity of the Arkansas Travelers Baseball Club. Launched in November of 2021, the creation of the foundation allows the Travs to help foster an environment where baseball and softball in Central Arkansas can thrive as the club leverages its knowledge and influence to empower young athletes.

With the creation of this foundation, the Travs organization seeks to support youth sports and education programs across the state of Arkansas. Initiatives include community impact grants and scholarships. The Arkansas Travelers believe that all young athletes should have access to the games of baseball and softball, regardless of barriers they may face and support those who wish to pursue professional careers working in sports.

Mission Statement: The Arkansas Travelers endeavor to create an environment where baseball in Arkansas can thrive by dedicating our people, partnerships, and philanthropy to support and empower young athletes.

Goal: The Arkansas Travelers Youth Foundation is the official 501(c)(3) team charity of the Arkansas Travelers. We seek to harness the passion of our fans and the local community to support youth sports and education programs in Arkansas. Our cornerstone initiatives include community impact grants and scholarships.

Community Impact Grants: The Arkansas Travelers believe that all young athletes should have access to the games of baseball and softball, regardless of the barriers they may face. By providing funds for field repairs, equipment donations, tournament and travel expenses, and other financial support to young athletes we aim to provide opportunities that would not exist otherwise for success.

Scholarships: Sports education is the pathway to a professional career in sports. The Arkansas Travelers want to provide an avenue of financial support for students and student athletes looking to advance a career in sports, sports management, or any supporting role by awarding scholarships and financial aid to those individuals.
