Tulsa, OK-The Tulsa Drillers handed the Arkansas Travelers a 12-1 loss in the opener of a four game series on Sunday night. Jacob Scavuzzo connected for three hits including a pair of homers and a double while driving in six runs. Cael Brockmeyer also had three hits for the Drillers

Tulsa, OK-The Tulsa Drillers handed the Arkansas Travelers a 12-1 loss in the opener of a four game series on Sunday night. Jacob Scavuzzo connected for three hits including a pair of homers and a double while driving in six runs. Cael Brockmeyer also had three hits for the Drillers and drove in four. The 11 runs marked the Travs largest margin of defeat this season. Tulsa grabbed control of the game early with a seven run second inning. Meanwhile the Travs mustered only four hits on the night scoring on Dario Pizzano's solo homer to open the fifth. Starter Anthony Misiewicz took the loss after not making it out of the second inning. Kyle Lobstein pitched 5.2 innings to earn the win.
Moments That Mattered
* Jacob Scavuzzo led off the second with a line drive homer to left. It was the first of two homers on the night for Scavuzzo who stretched his hitting streak to 17.
* Following that solo homer, a double and two walks loaded the bases. Cael Brockmeyer then cleared the bags with a double and the Drillres offense was off and rolling.
