Seven runs over the seventh and eighth innings proves to be enough

Tulsa, OK-The Arkansas Travelers (21-22) staged a late comeback on Monday afternoon for a 7-6 win over the Tulsa Drillers (22-21) to get a split of a the four game series. The Travs scored four times in the seventh to get the lead and then added on with three more in the eighth before hanging on as Tulsa came back and had the tying run on base when the game ended. Arkansas finished the eight game roadtrip with a 3-5 record and is in third place in the division, one and a half games back of first. Logan Bawcom blanked the Travs for 5.2 innings before they got the offense on track against reliever Tyler Pill. Five of Tulsa's six runs came via homers.
Moments That Mattered
* Joey Curletta led off the seventh with a solo homer to get the Travs on the board. Two batters later, Logan Taylor lined a tying two-run homer to left.
* With two on and two out in the seventh, Braden Bishop's infield hit kicked off the glove of Tulsa shortstop Errol Robinson allowing Beau Amaral to race home from second with the go-ahead run.
* Beau Amaral came through with a clutch two-run hit with two out in the eighth to push the lead to four.
* Matt Festa closed out the game striking out Tulsa slugger D.J. Peters, who had homered earlier in the game, with the tying run on base.
