Rumble Ponies Offer "Sock Out Cancer" Ticket Package

Join the Fight Against Cancer With The Rumble Ponies June 6th
May 31, 2017

BINGHAMTON, NY - The Binghamton Rumble Ponies are teaming up with WBNG, Security Mutual Life Insurance Company of New York, United Health Services, and Lourdes Hospital to support the "Sock Out Cancer" group on Tuesday, June 6. For $17, fans can purchase a ticket to Tuesday's game against the Richmond Flying Squirrels and receive a pair of "Sock Out Cancer" socks. Socks will also be available for purchase at The Armory, the Rumble Ponies' team store at NYSEG Stadium. All fans are encouraged to show their support by wearing the socks during the game.

Al Downing, a member of Binghamton's Baseball Shrine, will be on hand before the game for a meet and greet with fans.

"Sock Out Cancer" was created to ease the financial burden on families dealing with cancer. The money raised by the non-profit organization is given directly to families battling cancer to assist with ordinary living expenses, including rent, mortgage, utilities and grocery bills.

Tickets for Tuesday's game can be purchased at any time at the Rumble Ponies' website (www.bingrp.com). Fans can also call (607) 722-FUNN or visit the NYSEG Stadium box office to purchase tickets for Tuesday's game.
