The Bowling Green Hot Rods have officially released their 2019 Promotional Schedule. They have plans for many brand-new promotions and the return of some fan favorite promotional nights of the past. In addition to their specialty night lineup, the Hot Rods will be extending the fun to every day of the week with exciting daily promotions!
The Hot Rods #Funtastic season begins, April 6th, with Opening Night sponsored by Coca-Cola. A Plaza Party championship celebration will feature entertainment the whole family enjoy including a globe balancing act, stilt walker, face painter, and balloon artist. Inside the newly renovated stadium, there will be a Championship Ring Replica giveaway for the first 500 fans.
New For 2019
1. Bowling Green Sinkholes- August 30th
For their final game of the regular season the Hot Rods will play as the Bowling Green Sinkholes in celebration of the 25th anniversary of the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, known for the sinkhole that swallowed eight corvettes five years ago. The Hot Rods will wear specialty jerseys and fans can purchase specialty Sinkholes merchandise from the Body Shop.
2. Unicorn Night - July 12
Come have an enchanted time on Unicorn Night, July 12th. The Hot Rods will be selling specialty merchandise, offering live unicorn rides in the ballpark, and magically good concession items!
3. Stranger Things - August 24th
Venture into the Upside Down on Stranger Things Night. Enjoy tons of nostalgic eighties fun! The first 500 fans will receive a Hot Rods replica of Dustin's hat!
4. Teacher Appreciation Night with America's Principal- May 25
Come celebrate teachers with America's favorite school principal, Mr. Belding. Hot Rods players
will be wearing specialty jerseys to be auctioned during the game benefitting Stuff the Bus!
5. Dino Night - April 27
The Hot Rods are celebrating Dino Night on April 27th. Come out for tons of prehistoric dino fun
including an animatronic dinosaur. It's going to be "Dino"-mite! Special appearance by a life
sized deinonychus raptor!
Returning Promos
1.Nick Jr. Night- June 8th
Come meet Marshall, the fire pup from Paw Patrol, on Nick Jr. Night. Players will wear specialty
jerseys to be auctioned off in park.
2.Margaritaville
Who needs a beach when you can go to Margaritaville at Bowling Green Ballpark? Break out
your favorite Hawaiian shirt, and Pencil Thin Mustache, enjoy a taste of your own Cheeseburger
in Paradise. There will be a luau with hog roast before the game and a beach towel giveaway
for the first 500 fans.
3.Harry Potter Night- July 13th
Sonorus! Attention wizards and muggles, grab your wands and prepare for a magical night as
Harry Potter Night returns on July 13th. There will be a golden snitch baseball giveaway for the
first 500 fans. The Hot Rods will be wearing and auctioning off specialty jerseys.
4.EMT/Comic Book Hero Night-May 24th
The Hot Rods are celebrating the heroes of our community with their favorite comic book
heroes! Special visit from Cap'! This is the night we use our made-up names, so everyone
assemble for a night of super fun!
5.Star Wars Night
An old favorite is returning to Bowling Green Ballpark! We will have appearances from your
favorite characters including Han Solo and Luke Skywalker. May the force be with you!
Continuing Classics
1. July 4th Celebration-July 4
What better way to celebrate America's independence than with America's pastime? Come out
for baseball, hot dogs, and the best fireworks show in all of southern Kentucky.
2. Princess and Pirate Nights- May 26th, June 28th, and August 4th
Ahoy Mates, gather ye crew and set sail for adventure at Bowling Green Ballpark! Princess and
Pirate night will be back three times in 2019. Each event features a visit from two princesses
and appearances from a dastardly pirate!
3. Faith & Family Nights- May 10th &July 26th
Enjoy good clean fun at the ballpark with your family or church group! Each game will feature a
post-game concert by a Christian artist sponsored by Christian Family Radio.
4. Pink out the Park- May 11th
Let's paint the ballpark pink as we honor and remember those with breast cancer. The Hot Rods
will be wearing specialty jerseys to show their support and we encourage all fans to wear pink
as well! Special Appearance by the Zooperstars, plus the first 500 moms will receive a coffee
mug to celebrate Mother's Day!
5. Snellzilla Bobblehead Giveaway- June 7th

Reinhart for the first 1,000 fans.

1. BG Bubble Night - April 12th
Come learn and celebrate the phenomenon of the Bowling Green Bubble. Hear the insight of
local weather experts and make your own hypothesis on why the rain always seems to move

2. Adam Sandler Night - August 3rd
