Lansing responded in the third with a two-run home run from 2B
Bowling Green retook the lead in the top of the fifth, taking advantage of a single, a pair of walks, and a couple wild pitches. SS
Lansing came roaring back in the bottom of the inning, sending 10 batters to the plate and scoring five runs. The inning was highlighted by two run scoring base hits and three walks, and the Lugnuts led 7-3.
Gomez got the Hot Rods a run closer in the seventh with a solo home run to right, his 12th of the season, and it made the score 7-4.
Unfortunately for Bowling Green, they were unable to complete the comeback as the Lugnuts won the game and split the four-game series.

The Hot Rods will head to Midland, Michigan to take on the Great Lakes Loons in a three-game series beginning tomorrow night. First pitch from Dow Diamond is set for 7:05pm Eastern time. Neither team has announced a starter.
