(Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver, B.C.) - With Canadians players wearing modified Montreal Expos jerseys to pay tribute to Baseball Hall of Famer Tim Raines, Vancouver scored in four straight innings to take the rubber match of a three-game series from the Everett Aquasox on Tuesday night

(Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver, B.C.) - With Canadians players wearing modified Montreal Expos jerseys to pay tribute to Baseball Hall of Famer Tim Raines, Vancouver scored in four straight innings to take the rubber match of a three-game series from the Everett Aquasox on Tuesday night out at historic Scotiabank Field.
Raines looked on as Vancouver scored a lone run in the 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th innings erasing an early 1-0 deficit as the Canadians got a strong night from Brock Lundquist who went 1-for-2 with a double and a pair of RBI to pace the offense. DH Riley Adams went 1-for-3 with an RBI to bump his average to .313 on the season.
On the mound, Canadians RHP Justin Dillon went three innings allowing the only Aquasox run of the game in the top of the 3rd inning before turning the ball over to LHP Zach Logue (3-1) who pitched four scoreless innings, striking out five to grab the win. LHP Marcus Reyes pitched a scoreless 8th inning in his Canadians debut and RHP William Ouellette (10) pitched a clean 9th inning for his league-leading 10th save of the summer.
With the victory, Vancouver improves to 16-11 (.593) through 27 second half games, and 37-28 (.569) overall and remain tied atop the North Division alongside Tri-City who came from behind to top Spokane 4-3. Vancouver and the Dust Devils are now two games clear of Spokane and three better than Everett with just 11 second half games remaining.
Vancouver now travels down to Everett to open up a three-game series against the Aquasox out at Memorial Stadium starting on Wednesday, August 23rd at 7:05pm. The Canadians will send LHP Travis Bergen (0-0, 16.20) to the mound opposite Everett RHP Randy Bell (0-2, 5.54) as Vancouver looks to improve on its 1-2 (.333) record in Everett. Note: In three games down at Memorial Stadium, the Canadians have been outscored 29-22.
Vancouver Canadians Baseball returns to historic Scotiabank Field at Nat Bailey Stadium for the final homestand of the 2017 regular season on Saturday, August 26th at 7:05pm as the Boise Hawks (Colorado Rockies) set up for a five-game series that runs through August 30th.
